Finger vein biometrics in AEOS offers a non-invasive method of authentication

Finger vein recognition is a relatively new biometric technology. Each individual’s vein pattern is unique and thus provides an excellent biometric identifier. Finger vein recognition works by shining infrared light through the finger. The infrared light is absorbed by the haemoglobin of the blood in the veins.
