More than half of security professionals received salary increases in 2009 even though information security budgets decreased

The latest (ISC)2 2010 Career Impact Survey found that more than half of information security professionals surveyed received salary increases in 2009, while less than five percent of participants lost their jobs. Information security professionals salaries on the increase

Early analysis of broad trends from the Information Security Solutions Salary Survey 2009 suggests security professionals are holding their value in the current economic downturn.
