European Standard EN54-21/CPD for fire systems accreditation for Chiron products(13/12/2011)
The IRIS range from Chiron is already Europe’s most widely-used alarm-over-IP technology . Recently, Chiron’s entire IRIS Touch alarm-over-IP range has been awarded accreditation to EN54-21/CPD for fire systems. This latest fire approval makes it easier for IRIS Touch users to comply with insurance regulations, particularly in European countries. Chiron alarm-over-IP systems now with GPRS signalling(12/10/2009)
Chiron Security Communications has upgraded its IRIS Touch 200 and IRIS Touch 400 diallers, with the addition of GPRS signalling as an alternative to GSM. The IRIS range allows users to dispense with expensive fixed lines whilst maintaining totally secure and robust monitoring.
